Division of Aging Services
The Georgia Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Division of Aging Services (DAS) supports the
larger goals of DHS by assisting older individuals, at-risk adults, persons with disabilities, their
families, and caregivers to achieve safe, healthy, independent, and self-reliant lives.
Provides payments for housing, rent, utilities, and transportation.
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Available to U.S. citizens or legally admitted immigrants with a household income at or below 60% of
the state’s median income.

The Grant Portal offers grants for a variety of aging-related causes, including Alzheimer’s care, adult
literacy programs, and aging research.
